About Our Institution

Established in 1963, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Medical College (JNMMC) is one of the oldest and most respected medical institutions in Central India. Named after India's first Prime Minister, our college embodies his vision of progress through education and scientific temper.

Located in the capital city of Raipur, Chhattisgarh, we serve a diverse population across the state and neighboring regions. Our 750-bed tertiary care teaching hospital provides comprehensive healthcare services, while our college offers undergraduate (MBBS), postgraduate (MD/MS), and diploma programs recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

Our campus spans over 50 acres, featuring state-of-the-art laboratories, modern lecture halls, a well-stocked library with over 25,000 volumes, and dedicated research centers. MBBS

A 5.5-year undergraduate program including one year of compulsory rotating internship. Our MBBS curriculum integrates basic medical sciences with clinical training across 19 departments. Annual intake: 150 students.

Our emergency department handles over 200 patients daily with separate triage areas for medical, surgical, pediatric, and obstetric emergencies. Equipped with advanced life support systems and staffed by emergency medicine specialists.

12 modern operation theatres with laminar airflow, anesthesia workstations, and advanced surgical equipment. Specialized OTs for cardiac, neuro, and orthopedic surgeries.
